The UX of Stairs - When simple tasks aren’t so simple

A year and half ago I was a perfectly normal adult capable of anything I set my mind to. Then I started getting dizzy spells which got progressively worse. Today, I have 2-3 active hours a day, I shouldn’t drive, I need a cane and can no longer take the stairs. I see the world quite differently. I take the audience through this journey, as well as how the world ‘caters’ to people with disabilities. I’ll cover everything from the user experience of big box stores to using the web.

The desire to understand how things work is one of my most driving factors. It has pushed me to take things apart in order to figure out how to put them together. Of course this led to me trying to make them do things they weren’t supposed to do.
